Since 1996, Prototier-1 Inc. has been the leading sheet metal prototype and short run services company in Canada.

At Prototier our focus is on the production of the highest quality pre-production, short run production stamped or CNC machined prototypes for the automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical, appliance, agricultural industries, and more.

Our 24,000 square foot shop is outfitted with state of the art equipment. Our trained and experienced staff ensures that the use of our equipment is maximized. As a result, jobs are always completed on time, or ahead of schedule.

We understand and respect the urgency of bringing a product through the engineering stage to production as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Quality Assurance

As an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, Prototier ensures all parts and assemblies are carefully inspected on the premises prior to being shipped.

QA check includes review of the original design specifications by a certified Quality Engineer to ensure all customer specifications are as planned.

Our LK CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine’s (CMM’s) are outfitted with state-of-the-art software to measure the dimensional accuracy and inspect the consistency of customer parts.
